The Directors' Club (Great Britain and Northern Ireland) was founded in London in 2010.
The Club has the mission to bring together a wide array of professionals with one thing in common - the customer.
There are a variety of customer-related organisations for customer service, contact centres, customer experience, insight and engagement. But the customer journey doesn't break neatly into these silos. There is overlap between each of the professional disciplines.
The Directors' Club (GB & NI) was founded to bring these disciplines together, to share experiences and knowledge and promote consistency across the customer journey.
By April 2013 the Directors' Club (GB & NI) membership had grown to over 1700 with representation from across the UK and from over a dozen individual professions.
The format of bringing together a broad-church of professions with a common focus on the customer had worked.
Six Leadership Groups were inaugurated in August 2012: Customer Service Leadership Group, Customer Experience Leadership Group, Customer Operations Leadership Group, Contact Centre Leadership Group, Customer Insight Leadership Group, Business Transformation Leadership Group.
Over 300 Directors' Club (GB & NI) members attended the Customer Engagement Day 2012 national conference tour, across six of the UK's commercial capitals. To attend a Customer Engagement Day 2013 conference, please visit the event section for more information.
Our aim is to grow the Directors' Club (GB & NI) membership to 5,000 over the coming year.
